Why book direct

Six reasons people skip Viator

Our return-guest rate is over 30%. These are the six reasons it stays that way.

No licence required

Croatian Maritime Code permits operation under a qualifying instructor briefing — 15 minutes, on-water, every guest.

Own fleet, own skippers

Every Yamaha and Sea-Doo is ours. Not a reseller, not a platform. The same mechanic who serviced the engine yesterday is on the dock when you arrive.

Marina Frapa base

10 minutes by taxi from the Old Town walls, 5 minutes from the Gruž cruise port. Free customer parking. Step-free pontoon.

Free reschedule on weather

If the sea is unsafe on your day, you reschedule free or get a 100% refund. No fine print, no platform middleman.

Direct price, 0% platform fee

OTAs add 15–25% commission. Book us directly and you save the same margin — same machine, same skipper.

14 seasons, zero incidents

Adriatic Jet has run jet ski rental Dubrovnik sessions every summer since 2012 with no recorded safety incidents.

A local crew

The Adriatic at 35 knots — driven by people who live five minutes from the dock.

Adriatic Jet was co-founded in May 2012 by two Lapad-born friends — Đivo Marković and Captain Vlaho Bogdanović. Same primary school, same daily walk past the Marina Frapa pontoon they would later own a piece of. Fourteen seasons later they still answer every WhatsApp themselves.

Every rider gets the same thing on the dock: a 15-minute on-water briefing, a CE-approved life jacket, a printed route map of the licence-free zone, and somebody who picks up the WhatsApp on the first ring if anything goes wrong out there.

  • Croatian Maritime Authority inspection — every spring, every machine.
  • Captain Vlaho — Cat. C licence, sea-rescue certified.
  • €1 000 000 passenger liability insurance, per vessel.

★★★★★

"Amazing experience. Rented a jet ski for two hours, no problems with renting, the briefing was thorough. The Elaphiti crossing is unreal — calm sea, no other boats. 5/5."

★★★★★

"Fantastic ride with Vlaho. We saw the caves, swam in crystal-clear water, then he showed us a hidden bay nobody on the boat tours goes to. A must-do in Dubrovnik."

Nerissa Tiffany · Trustpilot · April 2026
★★★★★

"Going to the Blue Cave by jet ski was very cool and very different from the standard boat tour. We got there before the queue, swam inside, and were back at the marina before lunch."

Darren Heitner · Google · March 2026
★★★★ ☆

"The skipper is a serious driver. Treats you like kings, clearly loves the route, and the price was 20% less than what I saw on Viator. Will book direct again."
