Cancellation Policy

Effective 1 January 2025 — for direct bookings at Marina Frapa.

The headline rules

  • ≥24 hours before departure: free cancellation, full deposit refunded within 5 business days.
  • Within 24 hours: deposit forfeited unless the cancellation is weather-related (see below).
  • No-show: deposit forfeited; full price not charged.

Weather rebookings

Captain Vlaho makes the go/no-go call by 07:00 on the day. The threshold is sustained wind ≥15 knots or wave height ≥1 m on the Croatian Meteorological Service forecast. On a no-go call we offer:

  1. A free reschedule to any open slot in the same season, no fee.
  2. A 100% deposit refund within 5 business days.

Pick whichever works for your trip. There are no platform fees, no fine print, no third-party arbitration.

How to cancel or reschedule

Bookings made through OTAs (Viator, GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor)

OTA bookings follow the OTA's own cancellation rules, not ours. Their windows are typically 48–72 hours and refund processing takes 7–14 days. This is one of several reasons we recommend booking direct.

Force majeure

Acts of God, port closures, government restrictions and other events outside our reasonable control trigger an automatic 100% refund regardless of timing.

Refund processing

Refunds are issued via the original Stripe charge. They typically appear in your account within 5 business days; for some banks it can take up to 10 business days.
